Lakselva’s Big One

Charlie White at Roxtons brings news of a salmon of at least 48.5 lb caught on Norway’s Lakselva river by one of their guests.

The same day saw fish of 30 lb, 24 lb and 18 lb come to the big fish hunters on that trip. Well done to them on their salmon adventure up near the Finn border.

Incidentally it puts the fish at exactly the same weight as the big Gaula fish of 1.3m (spotted lying in water off a croy) in my last post.
