Low water masterclass in Norway

Things are stirring up nicely in the new-look Norwegian Flyfishers club under the management team of Enrico, Per and Daniel S.
Apart from the smart new logo pictured here and a forthcoming 2013 brochure of which I’ve been lucky to get a preview (it should come with a health warning, or rather a family life warning, or job warning because it just makes you want to spend several weeks out there next summer).
And now this:

Mikael Frodin, Swedish salmon-fishing legend, is hosting the last week of next August out there with a master class on low water fishing.
Now Mikael is great value and a very experienced fisherman (not least on the Gaula where he cut his salmon guru teeth*) and this isn’t just hearsay as I’ve met him a few times at locations from the Kelso Tweed fair to Murmansk airport and its all true. Anyway he’ll enrich the whole Gaula experience still further.
And do watch this space for details of my own hosted week in August.
Meanwhile here’s a photo of NFC’s lovely Home pool in very low water on August 18 last year. Le Frodin would be in his element.
Have good weekends.

*Hmm interesting phrase!? Cmon you knew what I mean.
