Camp life

Nothing to report from the Nith so far. But it’s a lovely place

to be. We have the ‘lower water’ to ourselves. Water levels went up, went down. A salmon smolt safely released on fly, two trout. A 5lb swirl from something and gale-force winds forecast in 48 hours.
Here’s a view of our new pool on the upper beat.

Best black pudding from traditional Dumfries visit yesterday, dropped into Buccleuch & Queensbury in Thornhill last night. Going fishing, cloud cover from noon.
